Sonco Fence was founded by Sonny Long in 1976, in Bladensburg, MD (just outside Washington, DC). We started as a material distributor for fence contractors in the metropolitan area. We quickly captured a large market share and began reaching out to new customers by opening new branches along the east coast and shipping material nationwide.

In the early 1980’s we expanded into manufacturing, weaving our own chain link mesh and building gates for fence contractors. Today, Sonco is a major supplier of Barricades and Event Fence to the Special Events Industry and a manufacturer and distributor of fence material and barricades worldwide.

With over 25 years of experience, we’ve never forgotten what is most important - customer service.
